Beaches
You will be spoilt for choice for beaches to visit. There are 28 beaches along the coastline - long sandy stretches and hidden coves, many flying the European ‘blue flag’ for excellence.
These are a leisurely walk or just a short drive away. You will be able to while away the sunshine hours on the long white sandy stretch of beach at Pilar de la Horadada, picnic in the sand dunes at Guardamar or relax in the sandy coves at Cabo Roig. Torrevieja, or ‘Old Tower’ as it translates, is only 8 kilometres away and is well worth a visit.
This is a growing and lively summer resort and is home to Europe’s largest and oldest salt industry. It has a number of long, sandy beaches, a beautiful promenade with a daily market, an international marina and an abundance of bars and restaurants serving international cuisine.
Visit Murcia, once a favourite city of the Moors, with its splendid market gardens and its magnificent cathedral or visit the many historic buildings and museums at Orihuela. Our holiday homes are situated in and around the Torrevieja area, approximately 30 miles south of Alicante. Set in quiet residential areas, void of high rise apartment blocks and hotels, the properties are ideally positioned - beaches, bars, restaurants and supermarkets are all within easy reach. Those who come to holiday here enjoy their stay in this type of location - away from the hustle and bustle of the larger holiday resorts yet with all facilities nearby.
